Join us for a fantastic multi-neighborhood event where you can find treasures, clear out clutter, protect your identity, and enjoy delicious food all while connecting with neighbors from Woodsong, Vineyards, Potts Crossing, and Ivy Pointe!

Getting to the Event

The Community Yard Sale + Shred Event takes place across four neighborhoods — Woodsong, Potts Crossing, Vineyards, and Ivy Pointe — with multiple ways to enter.

Entrances:

  • From Blair Road: Vineyard Lane

  • From Rock Springs Road: Iona Drive, Woodbridge Lane, Potts Crossing

📍 If you’re coming for shredding, head to the pool area at 3212 Woodbridge Lane, Smyrna, TN and follow posted signs.

Declutter & Protect Your Identity

  • Safely dispose of sensitive documents with our on-site shred truck, available from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

    • Limit:4 banker boxes per household

    • Location: Vineyards swimming pool parking lot

    • Accepted: Paper documents only (no plastic, metal, or electronics)

What to Shred:

  • Old tax returns (7+ years old)

  • Bank statements

  • Credit card offers

  • Medical records

  • Pay stubs

  • Anything with personal information

FAQs

Q: Do I have to live in these neighborhoods to shop?

A: No! Everyone is welcome to shop, eat, and shred.

Q: How much does the shredding cost?

A: Shredding is completely free from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM.

Q: What kind of documents can I shred?

A: This is paper-only shredding. Accepted items include loose paper documents such as bank statements, old tax returns, and bills.

Q: What items are NOT allowed for shredding?

A: Please do not bring:

  • Trash or garbage

  • Electronics

  • Plastic

  • Metal

  • Binder clips (paper clips are okay)

  • 3-ring binders

Q: Is there a limit to how much I can bring?

A: Yes. Each household may bring up to four boxes of paper documents. Boxes should be a manageable size for quick unloading.

Q: Is the shredding done on-site?

A: Yes. Shredding is done on-site, so you can watch your documents be securely destroyed.
